There is no denying the fact that I am absolutely gutted right now. I managed to not catch this virus for the 2 years it’s been on planet Earth, and unfortunately it’s come at a really bad time. I have indeed tested positive for Covid-19.
I was halfway through typing out what would have been todays’ blog post about Ryan’s birthday and our wonderful trip up to London to Winter Wonderland, and unfortunately, I believe it may have been our trip in what made me contract the virus. There is still more festive content on the way, but please do bare with me whilst I try and get back to normal. I only tested positive two evenings ago, so I still have quite a long way to go. I am however EXTREMELY grateful to have gotten it now, and not over the Christmas period. I’m currently isolating away from my family home so my parents and brother can go to work, so that’s probably made things a little tougher, but it’s definitely for the best. My parents were really sweet and dropped off my chocolate Advent Calendar and some essentials to get me through the next 8 days of isolating, but that does mean my No7 Advent Calendar series is going to have to be put on pause for the time being, of which I’m really sorry and gutted about. I do have another 7 days to upload on, but from today, I can’t open any more doors. I’ll still open and type up my findings when I’m back home, so don’t worry about that.
I’m typing up my symptoms day by day, just so I can share with you my experience and how it has affected me personally, but for the time being it’s quite frightening as you really have no idea how your body is going to fight it off. You just have to go with the flow and hope for the best. It’s not been great so far, but again, once my isolating/symptoms are over and done with, I’ll share how things were with you all.
In the meantime, have a brilliant week, and I’ll do my best in getting your end of week content prepared for you all. Please stay safe out there. I was lucky to have gotten it now, but no one wants to isolate on their own for Christmas, so please take care.
