Our Trip to Camber Sands | April Catch-up!

Welcome back everyone!!! It feels like it’s been forever since I last posted, but it’s only been just under two weeks hahaha! How are you all?! What have I missed? Anything exciting?? My exciting news of the week – I’ve now had my hair chopped and either look like Lord Farquaad from Shrek or Velma from Scooby Doo with my glasses on…I do not regret it in the SLIGHTEST though! No more yucky split ends (for now), and it’ll be great for when Summer arrives!

If you haven’t read my last blog post, I took a few posting days off whilst I took a short break to the beach, and indeed, me and my partner Ryan went back down to Camber Sands. We absolutely LOVED our trip there back in February 2020 before Covid struck, and seeing as we had booked a little time off at the end of March, we thought we’d book another Airbnb, and take another drive down there. Luckily, we had the same host (not the same place to stay though), and he’s lovely – we never have any problems at his holiday homes.

We had BEAUTIFUL views of fields, Sheep, windmills – I’ll make sure to pop some pictures up on here – and very easy walking access to the sandy beach down the road. The only downside was the weather…the day of us going home we woke up to SNOW!!!!! In APRIL?!!!! It was settling on the ground, on my car…everywhere!! The weather definitely could have treated us a little better (we were also treated to a nice thunderstorm and hailstones), but all in all, we wanted a trip where we could do absolutely NOTHING and that’s what we had and it was splendid. We did have a day where we could walk on the beach which was lovely, and I’m glad we were able to do that before going home.

The fact we are now in April is CRAZY to me!!! Easter is NEXT WEEK and I turn 21 next month…life is flying by at quite a scary pace! My cousin also turns 14, and I remember the day she was born! I do also just want to send out the biggest get well wishes to all of you being struck down with Covid at the moment. SO many people I know have been testing positive – my Dad included, alongside Ryan’s Mum, his sister…it’s everywhere!!! Please stay as safe as you can. 🙏🏻❤️

Hopefully the weather starts properly warming up, and we can get some Spring sunshine appearing here in the UK!

Do you have any exciting Easter plans coming up? Or are we all just using the few days/bank holiday as an excuse to eat as much Chocolate as possible? I think so!😉
